Welcome to the Care and Compassionate Hearts Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most in Sri Lanka. Our foundation is committed to promoting sustainable development, protecting biodiversity, and providing essential support to vulnerable communities. Through our carefully crafted projects under four key categories—Children Want a Home, Homeless and Poverty, Protect Animals and Biodiversity, and Voice Aid Initiative and Education—we strive to create a compassionate world where every life is valued and nurtured.

Children Want a Home
Every child deserves the security and comfort of a loving home. Unfortunately, many children in Sri Lanka are deprived of this basic necessity due to poverty, family breakdown, or natural disasters. Our Children Want a Home initiative is dedicated to providing these vulnerable children with safe, nurturing environments where they can grow, learn, and thrive
Homeless and Poverty
Poverty remains one of the most pressing challenges in Sri Lanka, leading to homelessness, hunger, and a lack of access to basic services. Our Homeless and Poverty initiative addresses these issues through a combination of direct aid, community development, and empowerment programs
Protect Animals and Biodiversity
Sri Lanka’s rich biodiversity is under threat from habitat loss, climate change, and human-wildlife conflicts. Our Protect Animals and Biodiversity initiative is dedicated to preserving the country’s unique ecosystems and safeguarding the lives of its wildlife
Voice Aid Initiative and Education
Education is a powerful tool for change, and our Voice Aid Initiative and Education program is dedicated to empowering individuals through learning and advocacy. We focus on providing educational opportunities for underserved communities and raising awareness about important social and environmental issues

Our Story
The Care and Compassionate Hearts Foundation was born out of a deep desire to address the multifaceted challenges faced by both people and animals in Sri Lanka. From the heart-wrenching plight of homeless children to the urgent need for wildlife conservation, we recognized the interconnectedness of these issues and the necessity of a holistic approach. Our foundation began with small, localized efforts to provide shelter and care for street animals, but it quickly expanded to include comprehensive programs addressing poverty, education, and environmental protection. Today, we are proud to operate a wide range of initiatives that empower individuals, protect ecosystems, and promote a future where compassion is at the core of development.
